CONGRATULATIONS On April 17, 2004, The James Logan World Guard captured their 7th consecutive world title at the Winter Guard International World Championships. In the 27 year history of the WGI this is the first time any performing ensemble has won 7 years in a row. Performing to a packed house in Cox Arena at the Aztec Bowl located on the campus of San Diego State University, the Logan World Guard brought the house down performing their show "Loganation". With a final score of 98.55 the World Guard topped them all, not only capturing the title of Scholastic World Champions, but also earning the highest score of any guard unit in any division of the entire competition! Of the 300 color guard units competing from all over the world, our World Guard Champions are truly "The Best of The Best." Congratulations to guard directors Scott Chandler, Dave Meikle and Adrian Bazua, and all our incredible performers on another spectacular victory. For a complete run down of all the WGI Championship scores, see the Color Guard Championship Scores on the WGI web site. The 2004 World Guard show was entitled "Loganation", a very original (as usual), intense at times, and lighthearted at other times creation by the great "Guru" Scott Chandler. * See
