Our year end Awards Banquet will be on Friday,
June 16th, at 6:00 PM, in the Logan Pavilion.
Dinner will be provided by Banchero's Italian Restaurant in
Hayward and will include salad, bread, spaghetti, dessert,
and soft drink. TICKETS ARE REQUIRED. The deadline for
tickets is Tuesday, June 6th. Adults - $20.00,

Logan World Guard Wins World
Yes, it's true. For the 9th consecutive time the
James Logan World Class Winter Guard has won the
Gold Medal at the Winter Guard International World
Championships held in Dayton Ohio. The students
performed to a packed crowd in the Dayton Arena! They had
stiff competition but in the end they came off the floor
Congratulations to the students, staff and to our
supportive Band & Color Guard Boosters!

February. (The uniform includes: jacket & pants in its
bag, and shako in its box.) When you return the clean
uniform, the students account will be credited $10. If

other items in the uniform bag or shako box. We do not have

Update on Student Account
In order to proactively inform parents of upcoming
payments due, the Executive Board has decided to post fees
on the Student Acct Statement a month ahead of the due date.
Thank you for your understanding.
We Always Need
Our program cannot function successfully without the
support and involvement of the booster members. We are
fortunate to have many dedicated parents who have given
their time to help support our Band & Guard, but we
still need to encourage more participation. If you can give
at least a few hours of your time as a volunteer, we welcome
you. Our kids are depending in you!
Here are some of the areas where volunteers are
- Chaperoning - Travel with the students at
least one trip during the year.
- Sewing - Help cut or sew color guard
- Food - Food shopping, preparation and feeding
our hungry kids.
- Uniform Fitting/Distribution - Help organize
the band/guard uniform distribution
- Props - Build-create props (small only) for
marching and winter season
- Pit Crew - Responsible for the pit instruments
on and off the field.
- Fundraising - Take charge or assist in various
- Volunteer at the Annual Events - Logan Field
Show (November) and WGI Guard/Percussion (March)
- Souvenir Programs - Preparation and printing
of our shows' programs.
- Program Ads - Helping to sell ads for our
souvenir programs to raise money.
- Company Sponsorship - Donating items to the
Band & Guard (food, supplies, materials, tools,
